In a painting whose colors ranges in yellows and greens, to even gold, one can infer that Yoel Glick pulls on a famous phrase from the Torah when referring to the Jews: “עם סגולה” – “treasured nation”. Could that be the reason Yoel Glick chose to use gold paint all around this painting?
