What’s trending in the jewish art world today?
The young jewish buyers aren’t buying the art their parents had in their living rooms.
Contemporary jewish art is booming.
People want strong playful colors and happy subjects.
A friend once said, ” The orthodox Jewish market is usually ten years late on trends”
Because this is happening, the second and third tier artists have crashed in value, like Boris Dubrov, Tully Filmus, Snitkovsky, Rothbart, Gleizer etc.
The older blue chip artists like, Zalman Kleinman, Itzshak Holtz, Elena Flerova, Zvi Malnivotzer, Zvi Raphaeli and Huvy are doing great.
The takeaway, contemporary is trending and old blue chips are doing great.
