Buy low, and sell high.

Really.

Where do you buy low?

Ebay, estate sales, pawn shops, friend that needs cash today or a gallery looking to liquidate.

Where do you sell high?

Ebay, gallery or your friend that collects art.

This is the quick answer.

And specifically for deceased artists.

But most blue chip artwork, usually goes up in value. (Picasso or Rembrandt aren’t painting anymore)

So the safest way to make money in art, is to buy blue chip paintings and wait.
