Can you get rich investing in Jewish art?
The short answer is yes.
Does Jewish Art have a limit for appreciation in value?
Yes. Unless you consider Chagal as jewish art.
Here are the numbers.
Forty thousand art students graduate every year.
There are about hundred Jewish artists selling their artwork regularly. Not including paint nights overnight star artists. 🙂
Based on these numbers, its more likely for Jewish art to appreciate in value, than a secular artist.
However, its unlikely for a Jewish painting to sell for more than hundred thousand dollars. (besides for Isadore Kaufman and few others)
So, in summary, its more likely for Jewish art to appreciate in value, but has a limit on the upside.
So, buy right.
And enjoy the art, that the best ROI.
